This is why morality clauses in contracts are so important. I saw one where he owns the audio rights for 7 years, so she can't have someone else record her book. 😳

I read that he doesn't get royalties, he got paid up front. so any he's already recorded pays the author not him. didn't punish the author

Imo as readers & listeners we need to step up & help support the authors we love. Buy from the authors website directly. So their lose is less significant. Its the least I can do. Thats what I'm doing

the absolute worst part is that a boycott on his voice will only hurt authors. no one knows how much of the audiobook is owned by the author or the studio. or if the narrator was already paid in full
