If there are speckles (little spots or dots) on the eggs, it is a sign of possible fertilization. Without, not.

at a week there should be veins running length wise all over the egg. junk eggs are typically clear. after the first wk the egg should get darker from point to round as it grows

Should see veins they should be pretty obvious I use a little brighter, pin flashlight also. It helps!
