@oceanx: We saw hundreds of crabs cannibalizing each other for two days off the coast of Costa Rica’s Cocos Island. Cannibalism in the ocean is not that unusual, but this large gathering of swimmer crabs is a rare occurrence. Swimmer crabs are named for their fifth pair of legs that are flattened like paddles that help them swim faster.
