I've always been told not to do that because it just puts build up on your baseboard that's causing dirt to stick to it.

The dryer sheets get tge dust off, but I'm not sure it keeps future dust off.

I've used the Swiffer dry cloths to clean my baseboards. It works really well.

It has to go SOMEWHERE so if it’s not stuck on the trim then it’s on the floor.

I actually did an experiment years ago on 2 identical windows with 2” blinds. 1st window dusted with a plain cloth. 2nd window used dryer sheets.

No for baseboards but excellent to clean lint filter in dryer!

I tried it and once it got dirty again it was harder to clean. It was gummy and nasty

I use ones that come out of my dryer and hit some spots or grab dust bunnies on tile/floor. Not a new one because of residue.
