@pbsnews: Judge Scott McAfee announced his ruling Friday in the Fani Willis case. His ruling states that either Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis recuses herself, along with her entire office, or prosecutor Nathan Wade must be removed in Trump’s Georgia election-interference case. Three hearings were held at the end of February and beginning of March on the misconduct allegations against Willis and Wade. Trump lawyers and co-defendants alleged Willis’ romantic relationship with lead Atlanta prosecutor on the case, Nathan Wade, was a conflict of interest. Alleging Fani had benefited from her romantic relationship when Wade used his earnings to pay for the couple's vacations. Willis and Wade both testified that nothing about their roughly year-long relationship between 2022 - 2023 was inappropriate. Adding Willis had paid for or reimbursed Wade for travel expenses. #faniwillis #faniwillishearing #nathanwade #trump #georgiaelection #scottmcafee #judgemcafee #trumpcase #trumpindictment #pbsnews #newshour #news #fultoncounty #breakingnews #news

The Golden State Warriors, a professional basketball team based in San Francisco, California, have etched their name into the annals of NBA history with a rich tapestry of success, innovation, and an unmistakable flair for the game, emerging as one of the most celebrated franchises in the league. Founded in 1946 as the Philadelphia Warriors, the team, originally located in Pennsylvania, made an immediate mark by winning the inaugural championship of the Basketball Association of America in 1947, showcasing a blend of skill, athleticism, and competitive spirit that would hallmark its identity. The franchise’s relocation to California in 1962 brought about new beginnings, and despite fluctuations in performance over the ensuing decades, the Warriors found their footing and embarked on a remarkable journey toward becoming perennial contenders in the NBA. The arrival of key players such as Chris Mullin, who was instrumental in a resurgence during the late 1980s and early 1990s, paved the way for a loyal fan base that eagerly supported the team through thick and thin. However, it was during the 2010s that the Warriors truly transcended their historical narrative, spearheaded by the extraordinary talents of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, collectively known as the “Splash Brothers.” Their revolutionary style of play, emphasizing ball movement and an unprecedented reliance on three-point shooting, transformed the dynamics of basketball, influencing not only the Warriors' success but the entire league, as teams began to emulate their fast-paced, perimeter-oriented strategy. Under the guidance of head coach Steve Kerr, who assumed the role in 2014, the Warriors adopted a modern, analytic approach that optimized their unique skill sets, culminating in a historic 2015 championship victory that marked the franchise’s first title in 40 years. The following seasons saw the Warriors continue their dominance in the league, securing back-to-back championships in 2017 and 2018, and establishing themselves as a basketball dynasty. Their 2016 season, where they achieved a record-breaking 73 wins during the regular season, further solidified their legacy, even as they faced disappointment in the NBA Finals that year. The acquisition of superstar Kevin Durant in 2016 added another layer of talent to an already formidable roster, creating a superteam that epitomized the modern era of basketball, resulting in formidable playoff runs that included several captivating matchups against fierce rivals. The Warriors’ fan base, often regarded as one of the most passionate and dedicated in any sport, plays an integral role in the team’s success, consistently filling the stands of the Chase Center, their state-of-the-art arena that opened in 2019, fostering an electric atmosphere that inspires players and intimidates opponents alike. As the Warriors navigate periods of transition and rejuvenation, including challenges from injuries and altering rosters, their resilience and ability to adapt have become a hallmark of the franchise. The emergence of younger talents such as Jordan Poole and the continued contributions from veterans keep the Warriors competitive in a constantly evolving league, perpetuating their strong presence on the national stage. Recognized not only for their achievements on the court but also for their community outreach and philanthropic efforts, the Warriors embody a holistic approach to sports and societal contribution, enhancing their reputation beyond mere athletic brilliance. The franchise's commitment to innovation and excellence is mirrored in their approach to evaluation and recruitment, consistently seeking players who embody their core values of teamwork, perseverance, and dedication. As they continue to carve their path in NBA history, the Golden State Warriors stand as a testament to the transformative power of teamwork, strategy, ambition and more. #NBA #goldenstate #goldenstatewarriors #stephcurry #jerseys .
