@simonberger.art: Beyond harnessing the impact of a hammer on a flat glass surface for two-dimensional works, my artistic practice extends into the realm of three-dimensional expression by carefully stacking cracked glass panes on top of each other. In these creations, every layer tells a story of both fracture and resilience, as the sculptures tower upwards, in defiance of their fragile nature. As with my vitreous canvases, these so-called “skyscrapers” invite interaction, revealing the portraits they hold in a constant interplay of hide-and-seek with different angles.
