@chefjjskitchen: Panipuri Such an amazing snack and super easy to make Its my new go to ramadan iftar snack because the cilantro water really helps with quenching the thirst. Ingredients: - 1 large onion - 3 bunches of cilantro - 1 bunch of mint - 3-4 chilies (optional) - 3 boiled potatoes - 1 packet of puri - 100 grams tamarind paste - 1 lemon - knob of ginger - 4 cups of cold water with ice - salt & pepper - 1 tsp cumin powder - 1 tsp coriander powder - 1 tsp chili powder - 1 tsp chaat masala (optional) - start by finely chopping all the veggies and add them to the potatoes. - season the potatoes, mix and set aside. - blend 2 bunches of cilantro with mint, chili, ginger, juice of a lemon, a tbsp of tamarind salt, pepper and chaat masala. ( add some water to ease the blending) - strain the mixture, add the ice water and let it set. - fry the puri in hot oil till they puff up into a full ball. - crack one puri, fill it with a bit of potatoes, some diced tomatoes and onion, tamarind sauce cilantro water and enjoy. #panipuri #indianfood #streetfood #golgappe #indianstreetfood #vegan #vegetarian #veg
