You’re meant to move it with the screens on, it’s a safety feature. So you attach one, then move it, and attach the other

Pro tip, those arms are tensioned in a way that you need to attach it to the desk and add a monitor before movement will be easy. Ever tried to move a monitor stand with not monitor? Same thing.

Gas pressure lock so your monitors don’t fall down or turn round when ya don’t want em to. Attach to the desk and hook up your monitors and try adjusting it when it’s in it’s more natural position.

Hahah I love this 🤣 but maybe manufacturer or user error? I did find it easier to attach it to the desk and adjust one monitor at a time.
