I place 15k in public mutual for 5 years and it turn out to be negative 80 ringgit. I wasted 5 years of interest and transfer everything back to epf

Don't withdraw Account 1 to invest in Unit Trust.. Trust me, EPF is giving better rate than UT. I did invest in PBB Mutual & PRS and regretting now. 12 years investment. But the bank made profit. DYOR

The only way we can grow more than 5.5% is to put them in US500 index in US. Average return of 10% PA for last 50 years. But EPF only allows to put into some funds in GLC like May bank or Tnb .

Not a good idea , the funds might be approved but ! It can do worst then EPF on a particular year .

As someone who has withdrawn EPF money to invest in UT, my advice to you is not to do it. Not worth it. Just keep it all in EPF.

I invested around 20k,after 8 years now have around 49 plus.Some fund I got free PA insurance. If high risk return a bit high,low risk will be moderate.So I prefer diversifying rather all in 1 bucket.
