Seems like your experience is a whole way different. I’m confused abt having a separate meter. My car came w/an adapter. Had a 50amp outlet installed. I get a discounted off peak rate - cost$13 month

It’s reasons like this why I haven’t switched over to full EV, it’s just not fully dependable in my area. I love my hybrid car for now as it is fuel efficient for what it is.

The cost of your solar panels is a fixed cost for 25 years. Will your kWh stay the same for 25 years? No one knows what they don’t know. Buying an ev is no different.

I love mine and charging at home. I have the EV plan with PGE and have solar with a battery(came with the house). So I’m not paying for charging

I have a BMW ix and drive 2,000 miles a month. I pay .10 per KW on my home charger. A full tank of fuel was $75 and now I drive the same distance for $12 per “tank” on electric (300 miles). Easy math!

I got solar $40k for 20 years, I pay $188 i just started paying a electric bill no more than $130. In AZ summers.

Go HYBRID!! My neighbor has one and also a Bolt-all EV. Took the write offs, then paid $9k to upgrade his panels and ad a charger. Uses the hybrid for long trips…😁
