@thegentlebarn: Rosalie has taken her place as matriarch cow of the California barnyard! She's come so far in the short time she's been with us, and now waits at the gate each morning with her friend Lewis, ready for a cookie and to start the day with her new family. She's always humming a song, playing with her giant bouncy ball, or leaning in to loving scratches. Purchased as a baby from auction and brought to a farm where she was bred, Rosalie had her daughter sold away from her and it left her deeply grieving. She was rescued by Love Always Sanctuary, but didn't have a herd and when our matriarch passed, Love Always offered Rosalie to us in the hopes that she would blossom in the company of our cows. Rosalie has indeed now blossomed and she's discovered so many new things at The Gentle Barn 💗
