@_amberinamerica: I feel like it should just have a different name entirely why do you have to confuse me like this 😂🇬🇧🇺🇸 #cultureshock #britsinamerica #britishgirlinamerica #ukvsus #americanwildlife #opossumsoftiktok
If you have a opossum, leave it snacks and it will keep bugs out of your yard.

opossums are wicked friendly. I feed the ones outside my house. they like bananas and cat food. the other thing is probably a coyote.

Zookeeper here! I work with an opossum and I love teaching people about this. The Australian possums were actually named after the Opossum. the word comes from Native American languages

Your fox is probably a coyote. Be very careful if the coyote has anything with the brand ACME with it!

FYI - Opossum is derived from an Algonquian name for the critter. Another case of the locals named it first (like skunk, raccoon, and coyote). Australian possums got the name secondhand later.

Girl it's a coyote. Pronounced "ky-oh-tea" in Southern regions, "ky-oat" here in Montana.

I've always just said "possum"- probably because there's no need to differentiate them in daily life since we don't have both of them here.

Yeah I’m pretty sure you have a coyote, otherwise known as a yote or a coy-dog (coyote dog hybrid).
