Why not press charges AND contact their mentors?? Makes zero sense. Imagine the insane guilt you’ll feel if they hurt/victimize someone else in the future.

Sounds like this is most likely what this is situation. Trespassing charges would be nothing compared to the wrath of a coach & those penalties & possible loss of scholarship, etc. just my assumption
