A newby to Vic. In 70's we would take coke bottles to milk bar & get 10c for the glass. Then somehow that was abolished. Next Aluminiun cans and now plastic bottles. Everything is recycable.

I’m saving all my bottles for the Grandchildren but we have to take ours to Barham NSW as we don’t have fancy machine like the 1’s down in Melbourne.

SA Great have led the way = Recycling reduces the amount of litter. I remember my brother collecting bottles back in the late 70s☺️

I near kinglake and I take mine to the Whittlsea community hub and get cash for them and they get a % .. I got $45 for the last lot and put it in my grandkids money box

This is great! We have this beautiful boy in our street and we leave ours in a separate container and he comes and gets them from all the steeet and that’s his pocket money! Just love it !

There’s a place near Bankstown you can take foreign bottles and they give you 5c per bottle

Make the drive to a centre, you give the bag they shove it all in at once and takes 1 minute for 5 bags of cans (yes, garbage bags)

We collect our bottles and can and a lovely gentleman at the mosque near my house he gathers the money and it all goes back into the mosque. My whole family do it and drop them off at the mosque.

there are places were u can dump all your bottles and cans together on a conveyor belt at five dock or taken point.
