I'm with you. For older or sick horses you need to have some separate space, especially for feeding. Horses with cushing or laminitis can't just eat with everyone else.

Its a amazing idea but there are some horses there aren’t allowed to eat to much and others there don’t work in a big group

traditional stables are most often still used for environment protection. you have lovely woolie horses, not all breeds or individuals grow such nice coats. and ice is dangerous for reckless horses.
