You are lucky they put you in a side room. My dad was left in a chair all night, he has advanced cancer and is 73. It's awful!

I was on a paramedic bed for 9 hours before even been seen to. When they finally accessed me my oxygen level was at 72%. I couldn’t even speak to complain.

My brother got the same sort of treatment when he had appendicitis… they had no bed for him, so kept him in the room for hours, he then had his operation and his legs were cramped up on the bed

I’m so sorry, I’m an ex nurse and it breaks me to see patients being treated so terribly, the NHS is finished

I know this feeling, I had neutropenic fever ( I have lymphoma), I sat in a corner in a&e, in agony, on a trolly for 30 hours before they found ward space. bright lights and no sleep the whole time 🥺

From my own experience of A&E during chemo they just dont have a clue how to deal with cancer patients. Im so sorry your experiencing this 💓💓💓

Sorry for the poor service . My daughter when she was admitted had no pillow I bought one in and a fan . Hope you get comfortable and no stress x
