Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: Around 1:59 a.m. on October 25, 2025, Princeton cop Nia Toombs spotted a tan 2015 Subaru. It had a flat tire and swerved badly. Another officer hit his lights to stop it. The driver held off at first. She pulled over near Witherspoon and Wiggins streets. Toombs stepped out and met the driver. Her name was Judith Surkis. As they talked, Toombs smelled alcohol. She saw clear signs of drunk driving. Judith said she came from Princeton Junction train station. She headed straight home. A professor, she explained. Back from a New York City fellowship. She owned up to wine at a party that night. Toombs grew sure she was impaired. She asked Judith to say the alphabet, B to S. Then count back from 74 to 59. Judith botched both. Toombs had her get out for sobriety tests. A second cop ran the eye test first. Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus. Then Walk and Turn. Judith skipped heel-to-toe touches. Her turn went wrong. One Leg Stand came last. She failed to lift her foot right. She swayed off balance. The wild drive, booze smell, her admission, poor tests—all added up. Cops arrested Judith for driving drunk. They took her to the station. Her car towed for 12 hours under John's Law. There, they read her the breath test rules. She said yes. After booking, a sober friend picked her up. They signed the liability form for her. Toombs wrote these tickets: Driving under influence (39:4-50) Reckless driving (39:4-96) Careless driving (39:4-97) Unsafe vehicle (39:3-44) 20:55 I remember the first time I held handcuffs If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
