1. The kid is not in the same class as OP. 2. If everyone has moved on, why ask for permission? Obviously the ex and other mothers knew there is an issue.

NTA if your kid is in "Mrs Smith's" class and her kid is in "Mrs Franklin's" class why doesn't she join/start a mom GC for her kid's class b/c nothing your GC talks about will even apply to her kid

The fact that, not only is ex-gf’s kid not in the same class as wife’s kid, plus the group has gone out of the way to ask if it’s ok is what raises red flags for me on ex-gf. They know something. (1)
