There are lots of free things to do in New York too! Def take advantage of those! My fav to see the skyline is the Staten Island Ferry around sunset (free and breathtaking views)!!

if you are there for a week I would argue that 1 week's of grocery expenses should be added to what you can spend bc you won't be buying groceries at home

NYC can be a expensive if you are caught in tourist traps or were a fan of gossip girl 😅 but, as the ppl said, there's a lot of free attractions here too! I hope you enjoy your time here!

I grew up in NYC and my family always looked for free and cheap activities -there are tons. walk or subway/bus everywhere you can! buy some quick brekkie items for the room to save $
