I had a customer supply 3 "rebuilt" turbos from a supplier in alberta, every one either failed the first trip or arrived siezed before they elected for a cummins brand turbo. watch out!

Pull turb and actuator. smack off exhaust housing. file fins and uni ring. braze any cracks in housing. New actuator. calibrate. good to go. vs a 5k turb. 👍 done lots

I’ve had that with reman turbos when someone install them and they have to clock them they get stuck up internally. Re clock and work fine

somebody regened the truck right after putting the turbo on. the machine oil in the turbo from the factory will seize the sector gear if it's not test drove before a regen to burn the oil off.

I got a brand new RE controller valve body with mag solenoids. 2 out of 3 of the mags where shit… old ones on the new valve and she’s sent
