i feel the same about the bathing suits but someone did a study on it and the brighter/louder the bathing suit, the easier it is to find them *just in case* and the neutral/dark colors, isn’t as easy.

I’m not a fan of loud bathing suits either but I saw a video explaining that lighter colors are harder to see in the water. So it freaked me out having two younger kids, but the bluey is so cute!

The point of loud bathing suits are to see your child if she went underwater. It’s a lot easier to see the bright pink underwater rather than the white or blue.
