I can watch this for hours, but it doesn't mean I understand it lol! Our water heater is smaller and obviously no expansion tank lol. It also looks like it's inside of a metal box lol.

What did you cut out of there? Was it supposed to be something to replace an expansion tank? And didn’t work so you had to put in an expansion tank?
