Well I had this mentality lol bought a beat up car and spent two years repairing it and it always broke down on me. I ended up paying MORE than I would have if I just got a newer car. Which I did.

This is good advice five years ago. Now you have to spend around 10 grand for a decent used car with less than 100,000 miles. Cars with 250 K go for 5000 all day
