All central air has both I side and outside….. inside unit is often called the airhandler unit of the system. Most people only think of the condenser or heat pump part which is outside.

We're in Maryland. The condenser unit is outside,the rest is inside.

The indoor units here in winnipeg are usually furnaces and the air conditioner is outside and connected to the furnace

Air handlers are actually supposed to be in conditioned air. They’re never designed nor engineered for attic or garages. Btw love following this build and journey you guys are on! Keep it going!

Actually it is very common now in Florida. Your air handler will be more efficient operating inside the home. You also should not get the sweating on the housing that occurs when the unit is

We have 3 because the original owner/builder added on, and it was easier to add one instead of connecting to a current one. I absolutely love having 3. I can have different temps in different rooms

Get a cycling pump for your hot water heater so you don’t have to wait for all the cold water to drain out the line before getting hot water
