@amanda.snes: On August 31st my mother went into cardiac arrest. She was without oxygen to her brain for 40 minutes before the paramedics we able to resuscitate her. She was in a comatose state for weeks before she “woke”, and a week more with the ventilator before she showed signs that she could breath. The doctors said she may never speak again. But then she started to echo our words. That went on for a while, until she started to say her own sentences and reply bsck to us. It rarely made sense. This video is so special to me. It was very early on. She had always been so funny, and throughout this intense life change, she hasnt lost her humor. Only time will tell what her future holds.
