Also, you need more contrast - it’s way too much white. Perhaps if you pained the backsplash the same deep green as the island?

Gold hardware & stainless appliances is giving less of a cohesive vibe and more of an unfinished makeover vibe to me. The white on white on white looks looks so cold, anti 70s tbh.

With all the those overhead lighting did you put them on a couple different switches? My house has 9 on one switch. We took out a couple and they weren’t dimmable either. don’t need that much always
