Most of the UK doesn't look like this. We have a cost of living crisis in which people can't afford food or shelter, so yeah, we're miserable.

I speak as a tourist who has been for 5 months in uk and yes, the landscapes are beautiful. But: for a piece of paper (visa) I paid 200€, transportation sucks, high prices and trains cancelled...

Yes, it is. 15% of the UK adult population are food insecure and 22% are below the poverty line. Wages are stagnant, costs are rising and people are genuinely suffering.

Because it's based on mental health not beauty. The UK has lovely spots but gas a population living there full time. Nice places doesn't really change that

The reason I haven’t travelled that much outside of the UK (though I’d love to do more!) is because it’s less money to experience beautiful places like this in the UK.
