Any seller should understand that a viewing isn't a guaranteed sale, and that most buyers will look at other cars too. Its nothing to do with test pilots or tyre kickers as others have commented.

Hmm I brought a car from a private seller looked at it put down a healthy deposit while waited for my in laws to transfer the money the next as it toke them time to move it about seller was happy

The way I buy cars is to travel/view and test several cars and then buy the one I like best.

The buyers fault I’m sorry if you are going to buy a car but have no money or deposit then that’s on you even though the seller could of been nicer but he’s probably been messed around in the past hence
