my daughter wants to be an electrician. the school kept trying to place her at a school as a teachers aid. we had to fight to get her an electrical coop.

My college counselor told me I couldn’t be a lawyer bc I didn’t do well in my auditorium sized polisci class… I listened and changed my major. 10 years later I figured out I could still be a lawyer.

i took the ASVAB in high school (90’s) and was off the charts for engineering- my councelor made me feel like it was a fluke, that i was destined to be a teacher. So disappointed i listened to her.
