Did you take pictures of the property before doing anything such as your own decorating ? Also I’m sure you had someone to come out about the damp/mould send that evidence to your landlord/solicitor

I left my flat in immaculate condition. Paid around £300 for a cleaner ect. They charged me £50 british pounds for a DOOR CHAIN , that broke the day i moved in!!!!!

Your deposit should be in a secure deposit scheme if it isn’t you can take it further. We’ve had so many problems with landlord 😭.

its a legal requirement that a landlord deals with mould that is a health hazard, I'd argue you don't have to lose any deposit and ring citizensadvice
