as a dental assistant ppl don't realize how hard it is to work with a bunch of kids running around. also the rooms are small and you usually need the dentist and assistant or two in there. as a parent

the funny thing about this is once I had to see my dentist on a Saturday and her toddler was running around the office. Even came in to watch what her mommy was doing. Didn't bother me one bit.

My mum left 4 of in the car while she had her teeth pulled. it was a very long time ago but is a vivid memory of all of us in the car for 4 hours while we waited. in the 60's!

Depends how old they are but if you are lying on the dental chair who will keep an eye on them? If they are an age when they can sit quiet then that should be ok
