@susielake: I love finding super easy ways to make holidays a little extra special. Rice Krispie treats are such an easy thing to make into a holiday treat! I added Easter sprinkles and then used cookie cutters to make Easter shapes like a bunny, an Easter egg, a carrot, and a flower. Recipe: 6 cups rice krispie cereal 6 Tbs salted butter 16 oz bag of mini marshmallows, divided 1 tsp of vanilla extract Easter sprinkles Instructions: Melt butter over medium heat. Once melted, save 1 cup of marshmallows to the side and add in the rest of the bag. Stir until fully melted. Take off heat, add in vanilla, and stir until combined. Add in rice krispie cereal and the remaining marshmallows. Stir until mixed. Add in sprinkles and mix. Pour the mixture onto a wax paper lined baking sheet. Use a small square of wax paper to press it down to form an even layer. *Allow it to cool for about an hour before cutting out your shapes with cookie cutters.
