I worked in a restaurant 6yrs, granted not a small/family owned one. If you walked in right at closing, kitchen stayed open til you ordered, we just gave them a heads up. You don't ruin a patrons

I'm a server and I hate this. It's a last seating but clearly the restaurant is still open. People getting sat for last seating should still not be rushed.
