wrong. a cop does not have the right to run a firearm that is in possession of a citizen unless there is a reasonable suspicion that it is stolen. just because a person has a firearm is not a reasonable suspicion.

FYI a CCW in Maryland is exactly that concealed carry. Maryland does not allow open carry even with a CCW. And as a CCW holder you have to abide by whatever requests law enforcement make. They can verify that the firearm is legit especially being that he has it visible

So if you get pulled over for a red light but there is a dead body in the back, can the officer not still arrest you? Or let’s say you have drugs in your car and the officer can see it can he not search your car??
