Sending lots of love 💜 i have a maltipoo who became paralyzed, we were told she would likely never walk again but 3 months later she’s up and walking around. Physical Therapy helped so much!

I'm a vet tech in neurology and I can't tell you the amount of times we see sudden paralysis in dogs :( but often times for IVDD if surgery is an option we'll see them walk again and it's the best 🩷

I’ve experienced sudden and life changing pet illnesses and my biggest advice is to genuinely BE GENTLE WITH YOURSELF!! All caps bc it’s so important. You become a caregiver for your pet in a new way.

My corgi went through this at 5 it was so sudden 🥺 vet said theres 30% chance to walk again but a miracle happen and he started walking after 2 months🥺🥺

My dog has IVDD it’s the scariest thing to see them start wobbling 😢. The best medication for her is Metacam. It works wonders ! So as soon as I notice a different walk I give it right a way!
