Ortho assistant here, when the aligners are new, put them on and leave them on. Don’t take them off unless you HAVE to. Your teeth will be extremely sore the first 72 hours.

It gets much better over time! Wear overnight for the first time, but yes it does hurt a lot! The teeth sensitivity is brutal.

I completed my invisalign 2 years ago, it hurts most when you first start because your teeth are stiff. changing them every week didn't feel sore a couple trays in. my teeth are perfect now, worth it!
