trying the reverse lunges made me realize how much it hurts to try bending my toes to kneel down, after a while i get used to it but i still have to use my arms to get used to doing my left kneels

One thing I’m stuck on is I know you can build muscle in a calorie deficit but what are the next steps? Once you get to the weight and then go into a calorie surplus will you put the weight back on?
