@marieclaire_au: Australian parents can now access up to 26 weeks of parental leave — but how does this compare to other countries? #parentalleave #australia #aussiemums #mumtok #maternityleave #paternityleave #ausgov
Can anyone clarify, do I have to give my husband 2 weeks of the leave as dad pay or can I take the whole amount myself?

Does no body realise every pay increase employees receive those employers have to charge more so everyone pays more for everything they buy so the actually lose out in the end…

6 months is okay but still not long enough, at least 1 year with baby would be great

My son is 7 months and I can’t imagine going back to work and leaving him in child care. We should get at least 2 years paid parental leave

It’s been 26-weeks since 2020 - I worked for Centrelink. They haven’t updated it…once mum could take 26 and dad 10 now only 26 for both 😳

If you apply for parental leave before the 1st of July but baby is due in August do you get the 26weeks or the previous scheme?

Parents can now access 6 months? I don’t think so. 6 months isn’t until a few more years
