Just bought a 2023 4Runner rental from a dealership with 27k miles still have the 36k mile warranty. Was in excellent cosmetic condition and drove and ran great. Saw regular maintenance on car fax.

Just FYI rental cars don’t have to notify of crashes. They can fix and move on especially dealership rentals that go to auction.

bought a used car from Hertz car sales. no issues with it have put 30,000 miles on it. Hertz keeps the good ones to sell on their lot the rest go to auction and end up in your local car dealers lot
