weird trick but if you put the chunks inside a clay bag and put the bag in a bucket with water they will hydrate after a two weeks or so

No bones dont break like that bc they are constantly wet and have a huge force load till they can break but i guess it fractures like bone can but glass also fractures too

It's unnecessary to smash it, if you toss it all into a bucket a few weeks it will all rehydrate anyway and be ready for pugging after it dries a bit. This would completely eliminate your dust issue
