ar, I wouldn't cap boiler as long as reading's are okay, if readings are off, then it's a cap off and sort immediately

Makes me laugh some engineers cap off issue warning then leave the job 🤔 I always rectify if possible or new appliance/ boiler 👍

bit extreme that changing the flue for a bit plastic cracked on the terminal if it's wasn't effecting the combustion I would of left it common sense

if the flue integrity is not effected then I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be anything..it all depends on the working of the flue.

AR? but would also test the O2 make sure flue and internal seals are sound and recommend replacement asap like you did 👍
