It works because the chickens that lay the eggs are raised around cats, this makes them produce an antibody in their egg that counteracts the protein in cat saliva that causes the allergy.

inmunologically speaking you also are able to “tolerate” your own cats allergen over time so you’ll become desensitized eventually:’)

I always adopt kittens bc dander doesn’t start as much until 5 months. So you build up immunity slowly over time. Still allergic to other cats tho

I’m pretty sure the chickens laying the eggs have to be living with cats for that to work. It has to do with the “Fel d 1” protein.
