When my cat went blind at 18, I laid down rugs in certain places as landing marks for her to know where she was going. It was quite fascinating watching her adjust. She was a very smart cat.

I knew an old barn cat who went blind with old age. He also had no toes on one foot due to him being stepped on by a horse as a younger cat. He was still one of the best hunters
