If they were able to sell the cards then they obviously didn’t need them. At the very least they should be cut off any benefits.

unfortunately that's the reality some people don't need them and they sell them for other things and the ones that really need them most of the time get denied

I don't live in a city anymore but back in the day, there'd be 5-6 people outside every liquor store offering to trade food stamps for cash 2 to 1.

Back around 2001 I fell on hard times. In 2005 I was broke and got food stamps. I was embarrassed. By 2006 I had real employment and no longer needed assistance.
