cats are naturally dehydrated. running water is more appealing to them so that’s why water fountains are so great for cats, especially stainless steel ones because they stay a lot cleaner than plastic

My mother had a cat that wouldn't drink from a dish... she HAD to turn on a sink tap for him... this would've been nice.

Important to note if the power goes out your pet cannot access water as it drains below so put out a bowl if power goes out
