BMW dealer changed me 2k for that. they replaced the whole shift stick tho.

the leds stop working when I put it in S mode. BMW wants to replace the whole gear shifter for 1000€ but led only costs a few cents

Did an amber to white/blue swap in my old m4. Over 250 LEDs. Everything from cluster to HVAC controls. Absolutely transformed the car.
