this is a very hard situation but being on the other end is also not easy. Being friends with someone who is constantly down, negative or depressed is very draining. friends can only do so much.

Sadly, A completely one-sided friendship is draining. I recently had to drop a friend b/c I’m always there for her, yet she’s always bailing + only met my 2yr old once and hasn’t met my daughter.
