The articles I've read says TickPick has sold 6x, not total tickets sold. TickPick is not sole and probably not biggest vendor. Also no # sold in any article. They may have sold 60 W to 10 M.

I think they’re talking about tournament growth of viewers; as the women’s tournament in the past has been typically dry; this year we have a much bigger media attendance to gain interest in it
