I went to a restaurant like 30mins before I asked if it was ok and they didn’t mind. I told them take out was fine. (We didn’t know they closed at that time shame on us) they told us to take our time

The ONLY time I would ever go so close to a place so close to closing is if I can get in/out quickly and if I am traveling for lengthy amounts of time and need to get something to eat so I don’t crash
