I love the theme of this picture book and the encouraging message it shares with young readers. Phil is a food-loving dad and he loves to taste new food and share his discoveries with his daughter Lily. The little girl sometimes has prejudices regarding foodstuffs and refuses to try anything, despite her father’s one rule to try everything. This book is perfect , either you have a picky eater or a food lover at home. I love how well known dishes are presented, such as bagels, pastas, tacos, pizzas, but all with interesting and unexpected ingredients in the recipe.
